If you are in Abu Dhabi you should not miss out on the excursions. This tour I will mention first, is around the city and when you depart early morning, is a visit to the fishing harbour and the dhow. The vessels are built in a way that is traditional and before starting for the Heritage Village, you have to visit the Petroleum Exhibition. The Heritage Village has a small museum and also tells about the daily activities of Arab community before the discovery of oil.

Al Hosn Fort

The next trip is to the Al Hosn Fort and also the Cultural Foundation, Abu Dhabi. Then there is a drive along the volcano fountain, past white mosques, around spectacular Corniche and glass offices. There are high rises in this area and the breakwater tip would give you a superb view of the magnificent skyline.

Al Ain

The Al Ain City tour or the oasis adventure is a road from Abu Dhabi that takes through the desert before setting feet on Al Ain, which is situated against the mountainous background Jebel Hafit, at 1300 metres. The visit to the museum brings in displays of the culture and tradition of the lifestyle of Bedouin and also the local traditions. The tour takes you to the camel market and also to the Mahda Oasis. There is a halt for lunch before the tour reaches Palace Museum of Al Ain and the residence of Sheik Zaid.

Jebel Ali, Sarjah and Dubai

Let us discuss the trip before you leave Abu Dhabi and travel more to the North East. You have to pass Jebel Ali, the largest harbour that is man-made. In Sarjah, there is plenty of time to explore the hundreds of shops in Blue Souk, which sells gold, silver, antiques, carpet, perfumes and other tempting materials. The architectural themes are also displayed. When the drive to Dubai continues, they stop at a shopping mall at Dubai, and there is also the opportunity to eat out. After lunch, there is a visit to the Museum at Dubai, which is housed in the ancient fort in the city. They walk through the scents of the spice market to the gold Souk in Dubai which sells jewelry at the lowest prices. And there is ample time for return journey to Abu Dhabi.
