Fujairah, like The United Arab Emirate Ajman or Ujman, is one of the seven Arab Emirates. The Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE is located on the Gulf of Oman that lies to the east of the country. Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE flaunts an area of 1150 square kilometres and accounts for 1.5% of the total area of the United Arab Emirates. The population of Emirate of Fujairah is around 130,000 inhabitants only. Emirate of Fujairah is the only Emirate of the U.A.E. that is extensively mountainous in terrain. All the other Emirates are located along the west coast and mostly desert. Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE enjoys a higher than average annual rainfall that allows the farmers in the region to produce at least one meaningful crop a year. Emirate of Fujairah enjoys seasonal weather that has attracted many a western tourist to the emirate.

The emirate is warm for most part of the year and October through to March is generally the coolest. During this cool phase of the year, the daytime temperatures average around 25 and due to the mountainous terrain rarely venture above 30, but in summer the temperatures climb well over 40 degrees! The winters in Emirate of Fujairah are part of the rainy season. Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE is showered by the effect of the mountains on the westerly winds. The variability of the east coast climate and the varied micro-environment in the area has made Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE a real estate paradise in recent years. Tourists are drawn to the uniqueness of Emirate of Fujairah and visitor numbers peak just before the school summer months, making Emirate of Fujairah in the UAE one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. The real estate boom in Emirate of Fujairah has much to do with the richness of the land, the regular rainfall and the fact that it is part of the oil rich Arab World.
